Can I have an opinion on this dress please?

It's the sort of simple easy to wear shape I like and it's cotton (so not itchy wool or nasty polyester) but I usually consider I'm not quite old enough for Phase Eight (42) and I'm not sure about the scalloped hem.

I quite like it, I'd prefer it a little bit longer but if you have nice knees then go for it

I like the colour and shape but the downside to it being cotton is it looks like the model has been sleeping in it.

Hmmm, it's not very flattering on the model, that's a bit of a giveaway.

Well, I ordered it half expecting to send it back if I'm honest.

I'm size 10-12, so I ordered size 10 as "older" manufacturers tend to come up a bit bigger IMO.

Anyway, I love it, it's way more flattering than in the picture and fits like a glove, better than it fits the model in the picture imo, the scalloped neckline sits flat and it skims my figure without being too clingy. Quite stretchy and I do think it will hold it's shape, although that remains to be seen.

Dh loves it and he usually has no opinion at all on what I buy

Good for you battlefront, there's nothing better than a new dress that makes you feel gorgeous (ignoring my at your size 10 though...!)
