Knee high boots for wide calves?

My calves have grown over the years. I've just googled how to lose calf fat and most of the instructions are to avoid what I do daily, walk up steep hills, etc. SO I have finally resigned myself to needing to buy boots for a bigger calf.

I want a brown leather simple flat casual boot. Please help me if you can!

Duo Boots.

Duo Boots are your friend!

I'm the same as you twenty and was recently looking for wider fitting boots - I love the Duo Boots but they are way out of my price range.

I was looking for some fairly cheap boots (didn't have to be leather) to pull on for the school run etc and I found that Evans do wide and extra wide fitting (and there is a size guide on the website) and I love my new boots.............most of their boots have elastic and/or buckles so adjust fairly easily too. Wow, three votes! Thanks! How have you found them? There aren't strores near where I live so am going to have to order online. I'm a UK 6 and a European 39, love that you can submit a calf measurement. Do you find the shoe size otherwise correct?

Russell and Bromley. Part elasticated.

The DUO Giles boots are creepy somehow, have any of you seen them?!

I think I'll try the Brindisi. It is expensive but I hope it will last a while and I've tried cheaper boots over the last few years, not wanting to invest in anything in the hopes that my calves would shrink, so I'm due a pair of boots that I'll actually keep for a while. I'll check out R&B but I imagine that's at least twice the price! Thanks for your help!

They are really good. I got lucky recently and bought my first pair of Duo Boots off ebay as someone was selling a beautiful suede pair in my size foot and calf.

I found both sizes to be acccurate.

Thanks Snowtunes, I'm really excited. The need for boots was prompted after yet again buying boots in an online sale only to find they don't fit around the calf. I was at my most desperate, wondering if I could hide the fact that they aren't all the way zipped up whenI realised I needed to give in and buy boots that fit. I can't wait for them to arrive!!!
