Anya Hindmarch sale?

Been lusting after one of these bags for so long. Saved up & ready to splurge.

Do they do a good sale? When? Is it like mulberry & only seasonal colours?

Would you consider these bags to be a good 'bag' investment? I need this bag to last years!! Have a mulberry & love it but they are everywhere & overpriced.

I'm also eagerly awaiting the AH sale - it's usually a proper sale with pretty much everything reduced by 30-50%. I'm on the mailing list and usually get an email telling me the sale has started but last year the bag I wanted was already sold out by then so I'll be monitoring the website this year. I find the reductions better on the AH website than via netaporter or mywardrobe btw - they tend to discount less and later than the AH site itself.

I find the bags really good quality - I have a couple 5 and love them.

Their sale is normally around christmas eve I think but the core/classic collection isn't always included. But I got the maxi zip cross-body bag in black from my-wardrobe for less than £250.

There is an outlet at bicester but it tends to be the seasonal/older colours.

I much prefer AH to mulberry nowadays.

Which bag are you after? If you phone the Bicester outlet they'll tell you if they have it in stock.

OP the chic and seek website have some pre loved Anya Hindmarch bags at really good prices if you want to look on there

I have several of the blue label bags and one leather one and all are still going strong

I do - its really nice and I use it loads (mine is the smaller version so normally £500). They have definitely had those at Bicester in the battered leather in navy/black and also the larger versions in taupe and other colours.

I also prefer Anya Hindmarch to Mulberry now. I have a few AH bags all bought at 50% discount and lasting well. I have my eye on the plum maxi zip cross-body bag.

Oh dear, I wish I'd not read this thread. I now NEED a maxi cross body bag. I have been searching for the perfect bag for ages, needs to be a bit slouchy, shoulder and cross body strap in either tan, navy or taupe/grey. I ordered the peony and Moore Mariella bag, and it was only out of the box for 2 seconds before I'd decided to return it... It was such a let down and not worth the ££ IMO. Realistically how much were the maxi cross body bags at Bicester in those colours? Do you know if they post or do you need to visit the store?

You need to visit the store but they are normally 50% off the retail price.

The doesmybumlook40 blogger did a post a few weeks back after buying a maxi zip satchel at Bicester - hers is cream but I think she got it for a really good price.

There are a few Anya bags in the my wardrobe sale already if anyone's coveting - not the maxi zip though Xmas Sad

I love my AH maxi cross body bag. I have the smaller size version. I use it everyday and use the shorter strap for a different look when on nights out. In my opinion much more versatile and different than mullburry.

Sorry for the late response Decameron - I spotted the sale on Christmas Eve but all the maxi zips were already showing as out of stock Sad. Am gutted to have missed out. Did you get one?

Mycat, it arrived today, I like it but don't love it, wish I'd gone for the larger size, and it doesn't go with my new red coat so I am going to return . I can let you know which store I return it to and when if you still want one.
