Anyone tried Lidl Suddenly Woman 1 perfume?

It smells really like Chanel No.5.

I bought the Suddenly Madame Glamour one last year after hearing good reviews but I wasn't too keen on it.

I was very surprised when I tried Woman 1 - so similar to Chanel No.5 which is my favourite perfume but is now sadly beyond my budget.

I am delighted to have something similar and for a couple of pounds.

no but I bought some for 14 year old daughter's stocking - great to hear it has good reviews!

Yes - i am a no 5 fan but couldnt believe how much this smelt like it. It has great lasting power too.

How much is it?

Is lidl the one that also does the really nice moisturiser for only a couple of pounds?

I think the Madame Glamour one is supposed to be like Coco but I'm not familiar with it but the Woman 1 is definitely very like Chanel No. 5.

I had a spray of it in there the other day. I can still smell it on my parka and it's lovely. :)

I've got the glamour one which is nice. I'm going to ask my mum or nan if they can pick me the other scent when they go shopping :)

Someone gave me a bottle of one of the Lidl ones last year I think.

It was rather nice though not my usual style.

It is foul - gave me a migraine within minutes and after half an hour smells of lingering cat wee - lol honestly speaking.

Some perfumes just do that though, even lovely expensive ones.

Is this actually available in the UK? I've only seen the Madame Glamour one, and the staff didn't appear to know of any others.

I looked on Ebay and the only one is the Madame Glamour one. I am intreagued by the Woman 1 one now.

I'm in Ireland. I assumed it would be available in most stores. My closest Lidl is in a tiny, arse end of nowhere town. I never thought we would have products not available elsewhere.

Small white box with black trim. Suddenly Woman 1. Maybe it's new and will be in other stores eventually. I'll ask at my store the next time I'm in.

Someone I was talking to on Fb said she saw a huge stand of them in her local lidl and she was in England, i'm sending my mum and grandparents out on a search for it :D

It's strange though- I can't see it online anywhere. The only mentions of it are on this thread

Honestly BOF it was a minging, nostril stripping affair that resulted in a killer migraine. But on the plus side, I did pay less than a fiver for the privilege

I found a review of it on a forum with a couple of photos last night, I cant remember how I googled it though to find it

But all the stuff online is about how the respected Perfumers' Guild did a proper study with 100 women, and 90-odd% preferred Madame Glamour to Coco Mademoiselle. The stuff goes for a tenner now on eBay!

Well don't come crying to me when your eyes are streaming and there's a screaming noise inside your brain and you're attracting all kinds of urban wildlife is all I can say!
