£50 worth of Boots points - what to buy?

MissNJE · 13/12/2012 12:19

Helli, I collected just over £50 worth of Boots points today and would like to buy some treats for myself today.

What skin care products or other products can you recommend? Would like to give new products a try.

Thanks, NJE

I save my points til the summer and buy a new pair of sunnies.

How about a nice perfume? Or some Christmas make-up? There are some lovely Gifts around at the moment.

Skincare-wise, I use Olay Total Effects or No7 Protect & Perfect, but that's too boring for points-spending imho! Treat yourself.

I always use mine on perfume - for me or as a gift

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/12/2012 18:28

One of the Clarins Christmas gift sets.

Or perfume.

ihatethecold · 13/12/2012 18:31

Wait until after Xmas. All the gifts are half price Smile

They have the Soap and Glory bargain gift box this Friday if you like that sort of thing. I've had one before, it was really good.

I always spend mine on Chanel make up!

Zwitterion · 13/12/2012 18:44

Chanel nail polish or eye shadow. I know it's not as long lasting as other brands but the colours are beautiful.

YourHandInMyHand · 13/12/2012 18:46

I have the same amount, been saving up for some DKNY be delicious.

MissNJE · 13/12/2012 20:10

I don't want to spend it on make up. I have far too much already. I am going to NYC over xmas and will probably spend a fortune at the MAC stores there. I might just keep saving...

They do get lovely summer things in if you wait til then. Nice sunnies, bikinis, swimsuits, flip flops, sarongs, etc.

onthemetro · 13/12/2012 20:27

I would buy lots of gifts and keep them for myself Grin I love the range of gifts they do.
I have about £15 worth of points at the moment, I'm either going to buy something in January as a little pick me up or I might use it for all essentials that I need, like deodorant, hand soap, etc...

EllenParsons · 13/12/2012 21:35

I save mine for ages. When I have loads I feel like it is a shame to spend them and go back to zero even though I know that is being daft! I have about £80 on mine at the moment! I will get the soap and glory Christmas set with some of my points though when it goes on half price this week.

miche8 · 13/12/2012 21:40

I always spend them on perfume, have quite a collection now and I always smile to myself and remember they were bought with points.

MissNJE · 13/12/2012 22:35

Miche8
I know that is just how I feel. Walked ages round Boots today and couldn't find anything that was worth it to spend the points on.
