Of course you can. It's all in the fit! Just make sure it doesn't look tent like and you'll be fine. My Dsis is a size 24 and you wouldn't really know it. She wears fitted clothes and looks stunning! She wears white or whatever colour takes her fancy Smile

how does she doe it? Does she go for skirts or jeans? I have some white jeans but not sure what to team them with.

I wish I had your sisters' confidence to just wear whatever I like

Times suggested no tents and no tight white jeans, also minimum frills. Bright white handbag or big white bead necklace if you can't face head-to-toe white (I certainly can't!)

why would anyone want to wear all white? .. bleurgh

intergalacticwalrus · 11/04/2006 17:30

I can never get white right. I wish I could. Mind you, even if I did look good in it, knowing me, I'd sit in some chocolate or start a really horrendously heavy period.

MadameDeMars · 11/04/2006 17:30

She just decided that she was beautiful and so the rest of the world had better look out lol!

She knows which shapes suit her and she sticks with those.

If I could sell her confidence I'd make a fortune!

God I remember wearing whte cords and getting a really heavy period when I was a teenager Blush. I was perched on the edge of my parents coffee table chatting to my uncle who kept glancing uncomfortably towards my crutch. When I realised why (HUGe patch of red) I nealry died. That haunted me for years.

Twig, when I say top to toe white I mean lineny/ ecru type of sophis hippy look not Don Johnson stylee

weird to wear head to toe white

like a doctor or something

bunny3 · 11/04/2006 22:20

lol Enid, not like that. Im thinking ecru jeans/light-coloured tunic, beady sandals.

Pick a feature that you like and use the white to accentuate that - if you are curvy - then a wrap dress would look fab - great bustline - then go with a low-ish white top and dark slim bottoms -
If you are tall, then you can do the longish, floaty shirts and wide - leg trousers , some flat beaded sandals - and big sunglasses - very cool -
If you want to wear all white - then wear the white jeans with a fitted shirt and a pretty necklace or long earrings -a tan belt to break the white a bit and some pretty sandals - winner.!

bunny3 · 16/04/2006 21:51

ooh, ta CM, love the floaty shirt/beady sandals look and I do have some fab new Diesel sunnies. Not sure about widelegged trews though, Im better in a slim leg as legs are my best feature so dont want to hide them in large amouts of fabric! Floaty shirt + straightleg jeans a good look though yes?
