I love long hair but mine looks a bit straggly once it gets past my shoulders. It can look good-ish long if I put the effort in.

Both look nice, but you look fab with the shorter bob. It is how I would have my hair, but my hair is too tricksy. Lucky you, you look very Parisienne!

CalamityKate · 12/12/2012 09:51

Ooh see I usually prefer long hair but short really suits you!

ALittleLemonTwist · 12/12/2012 10:07

Short hair! Really suits you and looks more of a 'style' (although long really suits you too!)

IWipeArses · 12/12/2012 10:13

Short. Smile

Missbopeep · 12/12/2012 10:15

short. In the first one you look like Sam Cameron.

WeAreEternal · 12/12/2012 10:34

Both suit you but I do think the short looks better on you.

Snowkey · 12/12/2012 10:47

Short cut looks chic. Lovely.

Farlalalala · 12/12/2012 10:48

Oh my god Missbopeep, you're right Shock

I think you look better with shorter hair but I'd opt for a slightly more modern cut.

Farlalalala · 12/12/2012 10:51

I mean, Sam Cam's very pretty, but it's not the look I was going for :)

Oh, I quite like the <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=2.bp.blogspot.com/-5WiX521P3yc/UCG5Vsx9TKI/AAAAAAAADOw/ceuNEwSNY2s/s640/wig.jpg&imgrefurl=streetscenevintage.blogspot.com/2012/08/look-of-week-pretty-woman.html&h=300&w=400&sz=22&tbnid=B30OxkUj-gq3kM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=120&zoom=1&usg=__1XMjzKGIUbCq5TF2cSlGeGyEToE=&docid=Ecb5OC0LnDBYxM&sa=X&ei=MGLIUI-CHoWr0AWSvoDgDA&ved=0CEMQ9QEwAg&dur=349" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Julia Roberts prostitute wig look myself HEC Grin I don't like layers or graduation or feathering at all, it doesn't work on my hair.

HECTheHallsWithRowsAndFolly · 12/12/2012 10:55

something like this would suit you, I think

or this

or that

HECTheHallsWithRowsAndFolly · 12/12/2012 10:56

x post. Disregard all of those then Grin

Farlalalala · 12/12/2012 10:58

No I love the first one HEC - my hair's quite wavy naturally so might be able to achieve it without a new cut.

Second one def wouldn't work, my hairs too fine and would look messy instead of sharp.

Last one too short, but nice.

GreatUncleEddie · 12/12/2012 11:00

You look better with shorter hair

Eliza22 · 12/12/2012 11:00

Shorter, no question!

You have fabulous hair.... You'd look great EVEN shorter, IMO. Check out Jenna Elfman Short Haircut. Apparently, THE cut of 2012, in terms of requests at hairdressers.

VeganCow · 12/12/2012 11:14

Shorter, you look like a different person!

squoosh · 12/12/2012 11:41

Pretty girl.

The bob and blunt fringe really suit you! Frames your face perfectly.

racingheart · 12/12/2012 11:43

You're pretty and have great bones, so you look nice in both, but wow the shorter cut looks good. Because lots of people can't get away with those deep fringes and chin length. I'd look like a medieval peasant if I had that cut. It looks really great on you. So shorter.

MarshaBrady · 12/12/2012 11:44

Shorter.

Looks fantastic. Really, really good.

Farlalalala · 12/12/2012 11:47

Ah, thanks squoosh and others. I think I will probably stay shortish forever now - lucky that it suits me because it's so much work to make it look decent when it's long. I may dare a pixie cut one day, but not for a few years - such a PITA to grow out.

Short has won and I don't need any more opinions, unless you especially want to give them! Have only left the pics up as I answered this fringe question earlier, but the OP hasn't come back.

racingheart you've just reminded me of <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?hl=en&sa=X&tbo=d&biw=1024&bih=653&tbm=isch&tbnid=_M946nnGkQ5t7M:&imgrefurl=maidmarianandhermerrymen.wikia.com/wiki/Guy_of_Gisborne&docid=-eeFaozgfNeNuM&imgurl=images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110313154928/maidmarianandhermerrymen/images/6/6f/Guy_of_Gisbourne.jpg&w=720&h=576&ei=6G7IUK7lGoKJ4ASdu4DQAQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=142&vpy=120&dur=346&hovh=201&hovw=251&tx=125&ty=97&sig=107458629561019621013&page=1&tbnh=132&tbnw=157&start=0&ndsp=23&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0,i:86" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this guy. I was slightly concerned when I went for the chop that it would end up like that.....

HaveAGoodDay · 12/12/2012 11:48

I usually always answer these questions with 'longer', but in your case, you definitely suit your hair shorter! V. Pretty :)

buttercrumble · 12/12/2012 11:49

Shorter , looks fantastic......
