Has anyone used Max Factor Miracle Touch foundation? If yes, can you tell me...

How the heck it opens Xmas Blush

I bought it this morning and I can open the bottom bit where the sponge is, but I cant for the life of me open the bit to get to the foundation.

I've tried twisting and turning and broken 2 nails Xmas Angry

I suspect I might have a faulty one which means a trip back to Boots tomorrow Xmas Angry

Thank you from MrsPresleys nails Xmas Grin

It opens by unscrewing the glass bit from the sponge bit. Before you do open it, if you can take it back to Boots unopened, I would urge you to do so. It's horrible foundation, there is hardly any product in the packet anyway, so not only is it rather beastly makeup (thick, greasy, short wearing and poor coverage whilst looking cakey and gross), it's expensive per gramme too. If you desparately want a cream compact foundation, the Revlon Photoready compact one is a better product (throw the stupid screen thing away though) or go for a common-or-garden liquid foundation one instead.

I bought the MF compact one 'cos I wanted something portable, despite the bad reviews on MakeupAlley. I should have paid more heed to them - it really was a waste of £12. Grrr. Still, it must work well for some people (perhaps with v dry skin?)
