Where to get engagement ring reset in London?

I have a very old inherited engagement ring that is now too weak to keep wearing as it is. I think that the only option is to get the diamond completely reset.
The ring has massive amounts of sentimental value so i want this done properly.

And any idea how much this should cost me? I think that the diamond itself is worth sbout £4-500.

Look up Hatton Garden jewellers, gold and diamond merchants that can advise you.

I inherited a diamond ring which I had made into earrings. Michael Platt jewellers in Wimbledon village did it and did a good job on it and wasnt too expensive.

Thanks all.
Have made a couple of appointments in hatton garden for tomorrow.
Looks like it is going to be more costly that I'd hoped...
