hand cream for black skin

I am thinking of buying hand creams for stuff at DS's nursery for Christmas. I thought Body shop ones should be good but I've also heard that black skin is different. There are some threads about good cheap alternatives but I am looking for something a little bit fancier than what they would normally buy for themselves. Somebody recommended an Aveda handcream but at £18 it's pricier that what I would like to spend. Any ideas will be gratefully received.

The Body Shop Hemp one is very good. Crabtree & Evelyn do nice hand creams as do l'Occitane.

Thank you, monkeysmama. Are they moisturising enough for black skin?

How is black skin "different?"

I have very dry skin on my hands and have found Organic Surge to be very effective. Smells wonderful and is just as good as the more expensive L'Occitane version.

I think, however, that you are assuming black skin requires deeper moisturising qualities......IME black skin is as varied as any other skin colour so I would aim for just a nice handcream :)

Aveeno hand cream is wonderful

My dh and dds need a much more moisturising moisturiser than I do, but most hand creams are pretty moisturising in the first place so it's probably going to be ok anyway.

Dh likes the body shop hemp stuff.

Thank you so so much for the ideas.
