What's a trendy make for a 25 year old man?

I'm looking to get DBiL a polo shirt or something for Christmas, but he's always been into trendy makes and DP really isn't so we have no idea what's a good brand to get.

Last year we got a penguin jumper as we'd seen him in one before, but not sure if that's old hat now. I am making myself sound ancient but am only 29 i promise!

Not superdry ish, thats too skatery if you get me. It's quite Neil off the inbetweeners - plain polo shirts, straight leg jeans (he's very tall), v-neck jumpers

Anything from Republic or Bank.

FlourFace · 07/12/2012 22:25

Penguin.

TheReturnOfBridezilla · 07/12/2012 22:26

Fred Perry, Paul Smith, Lacoste, Original Penguin?

My brother is about the same age.

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 07/12/2012 22:26

We do have a Bank in town so I could go and look. Only thing is I'm 38 weeks pregnant so wobbling around town is getting difficult now that the christmas crowds are building up.

Fred Perry or Pretty Green do nice polo shirts.

TheReturnOfBridezilla · 07/12/2012 22:28

My brother is still faithfully sporting Penguins Grin.

FlourFace · 07/12/2012 22:28

Superdry and Hollister are for the lads that watch football in the pub and call women 'birds' and 'the misses' etc. IMO.

Penguin and Fred Perry are still lads, but less into Stella and more into a Belgian beer and a gig.

What about All Saints?

Have a look on My Wardrobe and Mr Porter for inspiration. Expensive but good for a look.

PrincessOfChina · 07/12/2012 22:31

I was nosing in the new Pretty Green earlier in Brum. They had lots of nice looking polo shirts and some jumpers and stuff. Might be worth a try if you can get past the fact it's owned by Liam Gallagher.

DP wears Superdry, G-Star, Diesel. He likes Diesel best I think.

Voi is a decent brand, try m & m direct online, good cheap branded stuff & quick delivery.

bangersmashandbeans · 07/12/2012 23:40

Jack Wills?

BOFingSanta · 07/12/2012 23:44

All Sants, Moncler, Tom Ford. According to DP.

BOFingSanta · 07/12/2012 23:45

But, to be practical, get yourself down to TK Maxx Xmas Grin

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 08/12/2012 00:40

Thanks I will, I went to Cheshire Oaks and did it all there last year at the outlet stores but I cannot face it whilst pregnant. It'll be horrific!
