Tote for 11 year old DS - preferably not Hollister

Hi, my DS has decided her perfectly good Gap messenger bag is not trendy enough for school and wants a tote.

I see lots of girls with the Hollister bags but can't face a trip to their stores. Can anyone recommend another brand?

Jack Wills? (scroll down to see bags)

Is it for a DS (son) or DD (daughter) or even a sister - bit confused.

I think it's hard for anyone to recommend a bag as what is in with eleven year olds varies so much from school to school e.g. There are girls at my DS's school with Paul's Boutique bags but you never see anyone carrying them at DD's school where it would be social suicide!

If your child has rejected their current bag I think you would be best off getting exactly what they want. That way they are more likely, though not guaranteed, to keep using the new bag. If that's Hollister, well they do have a website if you don't fancy the shop.

Oops, typo - yes it should say DD!

Trouble is my DD doesn't know what she wants, just wants a tote and there are hundreds out there.

Hollister have exorbitant P&P don't they? Site crashed earlier so I couldn't check but think I saw a post about it earlier.

Thanks for link Dexter, will take a look.
