Sports bra for the small of chest?

MsOnatopp · 06/12/2012 20:33

By small I mean I wear a 34AA (I measure at a 30B but this wont fit because I have a flattened rib cage and so 30 cups are too close together)

Struggling to find a sports bra.

Can anyone help?

TIA

I wear a Nike crop style bra (32A) very snug and supportive even for long distance running

Ran a marathon in a size 8 Nike sports bra, Nike are pretty tight fitting-am a 30A and had no discomfort.

Thanks. Do these completely flatten the chest? because I am very very broad shouldered (thanks for those genes mother!) and will look like a man to be quite frank with a flattened chest too.

They squash what there is round the sides to be honest! Not the best look but very comfortable Smile

Have you tried looking at Less bounce. They have loads and free returns, i think, so you could buy a few. Or maybe try one designed for dancers, as they are often slim, so small chested?

MsOnatopp Can you give me your underbust (measuring tight) and across bust measurements (mesuring loose) and I'll have a hint for some bras/styles that could work well.

MsOnatopp · 07/12/2012 21:55

sorrel sorry for late reply.
Underbust is 29.5 and bust is 33 (but like I say I am very 'squished' shape so no 30 or 32 bra has ever fit because the cups are far too close together and by boobs are very far apart. Also I am very very long from the top of my boobs to my collar bone.

Any suggestion warmly welcome though!! :)

Hmmm, normally I'd recommend a 30C but if that size doesn't work for you then perhaps the Freya active in a 32B?

MsOnatopp · 08/12/2012 01:25

Freya Active doesn't come in that size on any site I have looked at but I have found a couple others with that size and with good reviews so will order and see. Thanks :)

Hi kelpeed. Rubbing usually happens if the back is too big. I'd say to try a 34c but I've been advised that the Freya underwired active comes up about a size small in the band. You could try a 32C and a 32B.

I am a 30DD which is hard to find but John Lewis had a range of sports bras in funny sizes.
