Please help! My beautiful soft leather bag has a dreadful water stain on it....

.....bottle of flavoured water (colourless) spilt inside my bag today. It is drying out with a kind of salty looking tide mark where the water spilt.

Is it ruined forever or can I save it?

What can I do?

Help! sob

Take it to a cobblers? I think our local one does this, they also sell saddle soap which is supposed to help.
Liz jones wrote an article a few weeks ago for the daily mail about a handbag repair service - try googling?

Thanks.

I'm ridiculously annoyed/upset about this.

Try someone like this, they say that they can get out some water stains. I am about to send a very ancient Mulberry bag to them to see if they can work miracles, they have good feedback/reviews and are the most reasonably priced ones I can find - there are others on line if you google.

Try the handbagspa.com - -

OR first try a good leather cream on it like Collonil Gel - - works wonders on cleaning my leather bags - -

More thanks.

Dare I say this...a wet wipe (a posh huggies one!!!) got most of the white stain off. There is a kind of damage line where it was....I'm wondering if a cream or something might do it before I have to send it away.

I have leather cleaner for my sofa...would that harm do you think?

Appreciate your help.
