Vivien of Holloway swing trousers sizing.

I saw these trousers linked on another thread and I LOVE them. Does anyone know what the sizing is like? My waist is more like 24.5 than 24, but my hips are 36, so would I be safer going for the 26/38 rather than the 24/36? TIA.

Vivien of Holloway sizing is old style vintage sizing and is skimpy in the dresses - I imagine the trousers would be the same. Check with them whether the 36" measurement is 'to fit 36"' or 'garment measures 36"' before you order. In general I find their sizes small...

Ah, that's a good tip emsyj, I should think if the material itself measures 24 round the waist I would not be able to breathe!
