Does anyone wear strappy sandals with jeans these days

Have a party on Saturday night. Have a lovely new silvery grey top with sequins on which I am wearing with black skinny jeans. Would normally wear with grey suede wedge courts but have some silver LK Bennett strappy sandals I wore a couple of years ago to be bridesmaid at my sister's wedding and haven't worn since. We r getting cab so don't need to worry about chilly toes.

Do people wear sandals with jeans these days? I am out of touch.

I think strappy sandals and jeans looks very dated tbh.

Your outfit sounds gorgeous, def go for mega-high boots or closed-toe shoes of some description.

Keep the strappy sandals for summer

kinda feels like my mum eoukd wear something like that closed toe for winter.

MrsBucketxx · 05/12/2012 08:59

Thanks tak1ng, I had that feeling too.

Do you mean the whole outfit MrsBucket or just the shoes Confused

Top is the top and the jeans are Topshop Leigh jeans in black.

That top is gorgeous- I want one! Outfit sounds fab, but I agree with the others- closed toes heels on the feet.

MrsBucketxx · 05/12/2012 09:32

no just the shoes the top is stunning btw.

Thanks. G8 will wear the closed toe shoes, may even look for some new ones at the weekend.

Beautiful top. So many lovely outfits on S&B this Christmas.

No - wear the strappy sandals - that's so cool! I bet they look lovely. It's so seventies-cool-kitch-uber I think. No but I really do. I think you'd look great.

NO STRAPPY unless you want to look like a wannabe extra from TOWIE.
Adore the top, it's very modern-feminine

The top is lovely. I wouldn't wear the shoes for practical reasons - I find that even in a car with heating on full blast my feet stay chilly. Something to do with heat rising and the fact that the bottom of car is not that thick I guess but I would want closed shoes for that reason. Also aesthetically better as an additional bonus!
