Hi All
I've always had sensitive skin but as I've got older (42 now) my legs react so badly to being shaved...sore itchy skin for days afterwards despite using shaving foam and lots moisturiser afterwards...and bikini line just comes out in red blotches. I haven't tried waxing for years, don't really have the time or money to go to a salon regularly...never tried DIY waxing - too scared - but I love swimming and short of wearing a Victorian style costume (!) I'm completely stuck. Doesn't help that I have PCOS so am extra hairy and and need to shave upper legs as well. Just getting so fed up, almost wish I could just go hairy!

Any help/advice gratefully received!

I have PCOS too & get quite bad ingrown hairs etc. I use a mixture of aveeno & a Clarins satin smooth body cream. It's not cheap but seems to really keep my skin less blotchy. I also exfoliate very day & use the Wilkinson Sword intuition razor that you use without shaving foam.
I sometimes use DDs eczema bath grease & soak my legs in that Xmas Smile.

Have you tried King of Shaves shaving gel? - I had the same as you so used dh's gel and now I have no problems at all, magic stuff!
