Can anyone help?

I can only find short jackets in dark colours.

A parka might be the answer but I want a bright colour so I can pick him out of crowds.

Thanks in advance.

Lands End? I just bought a parka for DD (hasn't arrived yet so don't know how good it is, but I think they are supposed to be warm and waterproof etc) - they are reduced at the moment. Pretty sure they had boy's ones in fairly bright green and in red (as well as the ubiquitous navy Xmas Grin)

Red or green parkas with fur round the hood at debenhams, they were in the sale

Those land end ones are just lovely. Would have to see if they go in the sale as DS would probably go through an elbow in a week and I would cry.

Checking Debenhams now...

yup lands end there's a 30% off code till midnight tonight I think try EXT30FD ..it says for subscribers only but worth a try

ds has lands end squall parka and it's very warm/excellent quality in red?

£££ but you'll find him

ggirl · 04/12/2012 19:40

lands end have a lifetime guarantee and have briliant customer service , they would def exchange if that happened

BegoniaBigtoes · 04/12/2012 19:40

We have recently splashed out on a Polarn o Pyret one for DS, it's bright green and very high-tech, windproof waterproof and warm. I did almost keel over at the expense (it was money from DP's DF) but it's fab, I'm hoping it will do him 2 winters and then do for DD later.

Some options here - not all are long though.

Cherrypie32 · 04/12/2012 20:36

Another vote for Lands End. DS has had his Squall jacket for a couple of weeks now and it's fab. The squall parka is longer and the green would be good.

Thanks all

The 30% did work (cheers) so I have ordered this:
www.landsend.co.uk/on/demandware.store/Sites-LandsEndUK-Site/en_GB/Product-Show?pid=P_13558

In the orange (hope it's washable!) £56

And this to compare:

www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_234020703845_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Kids~Coats+%26amp%3B+jackets

Which is a bargain. £13

Begonia - they look fab too, the 30% at landsend off swung it!
