shoes and tights for a red dress.

I have a new sparkly red dress, which I'm planning to wear to a Christmas do this weekend. Red is not a colour I normally wear so was really shocked by how nice it looked when I tried it on! But I have no idea what colour shoes or tights would go well with it. Please help!

Is it bright red? Or muted?

Can you link to the dress? What are you comfortable in?

It's a bright red, slightly sparkling. I'll try to find a link to the dress but got it in TK Maxx and it's not on their web site. Normally I wear black shoes and black or neutral tights. But not sure if they go so well with the red.

I would wear nude in preference to black but either would go I think. How about fishnets in nude or some sheer black tights with some sort of detailing/ pattern?

Ps I would wear nude coloured shoes with nude tights. I don't think black shoes would look right with nude tights for a red dress
