It has to be somewhere I can go in person to buy it, no time for online etc.

Bumping for you as I need one too, only a bit bigger!! Grin

CheckpointCharlie · 30/11/2012 19:08

Have you got one you can turn inside out?

Vajazzler · 30/11/2012 19:11

Sports direct do lots of plain tshirts but its a bit pot luck as to what they have in stock.
H&M have them online here so should have them in stock. maybe call your local one?

lovethesun1 · 30/11/2012 19:12

Primark have long sleeved, not sure about tshirts tho.

AmandinePoulain · 30/11/2012 19:12

I bought one for dd from H&M a few years ago.

Deux · 30/11/2012 19:14

Next may have them in a multi pack or try one of those t shirt printing places for a plain one.

maillotjaune · 30/11/2012 19:27

Last time I needed plain black I found s 2 pack (black and White) in Primark. Long sleeved but you could cut off?

Also I was looking in boys sections and found in girls in the end.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 30/11/2012 19:28

I'm looking for a black t shirt for a 4yo girl. Have you got a narrator too? :o

I'm reliably informed that primark is the place to go. I never go in there so that'll be an experience anyway.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 30/11/2012 19:28

Long sleeved would be great, I am worried about him being cold [PFB emoticon]

Primark and H&M I can check in person tomorrow.

Thanks everyone!

He is an ox!

Gwendoline me neither. The last time I went into one, about 10 years ago, an enormous spider scrambled out from the pile of clothes I was looking through and it put me off completely!

You could try Asda. I got a twin pack of black & white t shirts for my dd for Halloween - she wanted to be a black cat. They were in the girls section, but they may still be ok for you.

icapturethecastle · 30/11/2012 19:38

H&M seem to have them here or here I would call your store to check. I didn't find any in my primark and had to order one off ebay.

I thank you too! I need one for my DS who is a poppy!!! Its not a nativity which might make you think "OK a poppy" but instead it is the Wizard of Oz..... now I am back to "a poppy??" Confused

Anyway I will try Primark too!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 01/12/2012 08:29

Oh Madcaplady that is so kind of you to offer - I need to take it into school on Tuesday though so I don't think there is enough time!

I am going into town today anyway, so I can try Primark and H&M and a couple of other places.

I did think about turning something inside out, but things with logos generally show on the reverse side too - annoyingly!

We've had black t shirts/polo necks from H&M several times - remember to check boys and girls sections as sometimes they are a bit randomly allocated.

Failing that, try Millets or similar for thermal base layers which are normally black

BillyBollyBallum · 01/12/2012 08:40

Primark in Brum had them this week - had to get a plain white one for dd and they only hadthem in thne boys section.

I found one in Primark - although I got it in size 7-8 because they looked very small.

Thanks for the help everyone :)
