Can anyone recommend some decent mini boden clothes for my daughters that aren't sludge coloured or straight off the set of Little House on the Prairie??

MY Auntie has very kindly sent my 4 and 2 year old DDs dresses from Boden.

We don't really have the same tastes and I've never exchanged her presents in the past,, but have found that I've just ended up not dressing the DDs in the outfits she sends, so this year I thoughtit makes sense to exchange the sludge coloured oversized sweatshirt she sent for the 4 year old and the striped sweatshirt with a ruffe skirt attached for the two year old.

Is it me though, or are all the dresses shapeless, oversized sacks or little house on the prairie throwbacks? The only things I've liked have been out of stock...what do Boden do that is good for young girls? ANy recommendations? I never shop there so don't know..

I got this in aubergine for dd3 at Christmas. I like it very much.

Whatever you do you need to do it quick because the sale is about to start.

Thanks northernlurker, i like that - is it quite a deep purple, the aubergine, or more muted?

Thanks for the sale advice too, I am tempted to order it for them in a different colour each - DD2 is blonde and would suit the emerald. How does the sizing come up, do you know? DD2 will be 2.6 at christmas so I dont know if I ought to order the 3/4 so she gets more wear?

My DD is 2.0 and is 92cms and her 2-3 boden dresses are at the knee, to give you an idea of length.
We've just had the amethyst velvet skirt arrive today and it is just lovely, DD instantly demanded it on and was twirling for ages.

There isn't a lot left that's nice in the winter range tbh, you could take a look at the spring preview? I don't generally like most of their winter dresses, but spring/summer can be nice.

Definately size up. I got 7-8 for my tallish 5.5 yr old!
