What tights with navy dress and yellow shoes?

The dress is a navy blue skater shaped one
This is for a special occasion.
Don't know what colour tights I should wear

I'd go navy opaque to be safe.
Maybe burgundy or cream crochet knit to be adventurous!?

Actually I think a dark brown woven wool tight would look good too especially as the shoe has a brown herring weave trim and lining.
I'd also give dark charcoal grey a try and second either burgundy or cream thick knitted tights as Mumelie suggested.

Yellow leather - possibly with a little bow? Or navy patent? Thin obviously!

Think I'd pass on a belt as those shoes are very decorative and especially with coloured tights. A scarf would look better

But the dress has these little hoops for a belt, it will look weird if I don't wear one

Maybe a toning thin belt then or a plain light leather one? Have an experiment. Scarves look good used as belts too if they are very thin fabric ones (not that i am scarf obsessed )

I mean one in a colour that doesn't contrast too much. Either a similar blue or a plain leather thin belt in navy or black.
