Thats all really. At least a bit of wool in it would be great. But I can't afford cashmere.

Boden don't seem to be doing one and M and S and the other usual suspects for this type of 'wardrobe staple' (Boak) all seem to be synthetico-tastic. I'm afeared if I wear one of those over my synthetico shirts I'll ignite with any slight movement!

uniqlo? they have extra fine merino cardigans,not sure if they have black.

I have this from M&S. It's still going strong after three years of work wear. It looks and feels rather nice on surprisingly for M&S these days

I've bought them from Oasis, French Connection and Banana Republic in the past (but not in the last couple of months) so you might want to check them out. I think I might have seen one in BR recently though.

SorrelForbes I had seen that M and S one online and almost bought it (great price)but it is synthetic. Does it feel wooly?
