Hello,
Left my really handy black mid-length Barbour (yes I know) at bloody Heathrow Airport last week. Must have left it in a restaurant on the back of a chair, like and idiot. It's not in Lost Property, so I think it is lost to me forever.
So what can I replace it with? Any ideas? I'm feeling bereft. It's a waxed jacket, does for rain, but didn't look too Barbour-ish. It was useful coz it does the park and the school run, has detachable hood that I don't use very often and it is mid-length -sort of thigh length. And... it looks reasonably smart so I can go out in it in the evening without looking like I've been yomping. So, of course they don't make it any more!
What can I do? she wails. I know I'm being pathetic. Should I use this as an opportunity to re-tune my look? I'm still kicking myself. Perhaps I can claim on my travel insurance.
