Please help me find a picture of my ideal fringe.

I think I am going to take the plunge and have a fringe cut in. My hair is dark brown and a bit wavy/frizzy, even a bit curly in places, but I tame it with straighteners - just to smooth it, not to iron it ompletely flat though. It's currently fairly long - between shoulders and boobs - with a little bit of feathering at the front.

I had a fringe in my late teens/early twenties but it was quite thin and blunt cut. I think the fringe generally suited me but the shape was a little harsh for my oval/roundish face. I think something a little heavier and graduated at the sides so it's a bit softer would be best. I might add some layering over the rest of my hair, too. I often put my hair just in a ponytail for a school run/toddler group sort of day and I hopes fringe might make that more of a 'style', IYSWIM.

Sorry for such a long OP, but can anyone help me find some pics of good hairstyles I might be able to take to the hairdressers? Thanks!

I always think Zoe Ball's fringe looks great.
I do think fringes look better on hair no longer than shoulder length but that is my personal opinion of course!

What about Bridget Bardot style fringe?

Lots of ideas here

This is my dream fringe.

IRL mine is a bit heavier, and my hair sits above my shoulders, but it's a great hairstyle and I will be keeping it for a good while yet (had it about a year).

Thanks ladies.

I quite like the pics of Bridget Bardot. Sort of like Alexa Ching but without that feeling that your hair would constantly be in your eyes.
