Laura Mercier Tinted moisturiser or Liz Earle Tinted moisturiser?

I'm currently using the Liz Earle one but I've seen quite good reviews on the Mercier one. Is it worth trying out? Any thoughts on either products.

ask for a sample from Laura Marcier...I asked for their foundation and loved it :)..if I use tinted moisturiser I use estee lauder one and I love it

I did ask at my nearest Laura Mercier counter for a sample but the makeup lady said she didn't have any sample pots available Hmm.

I used to use this for about 2 years until last month I discovered Estée Lauder double wear light.
LM tinted moisturiser is very nice - I have combination skin, it worked well with my skin but I prefer the double wear light

I love my laura mercier tinted moisturiser. It's fab. A good colour and coverage. Really natural, a little goes a long way.

Thank you for your responses.

I have, in fact, the Estee Lauder Doublewear Light and I really like it but it has a matt effect.

I quite like the dewy effect of the tinted moisturisers and was wondering if changing to the Mercier was worth it. Perhaps I'll hold out for a sample pot.

Bobbi brown bb creme might be worth a sample too

FellatioNelson · 24/11/2012 18:51

The Bobby Brown BB cream is a bloody marvel. I am completely in love with it. It is light but it has excellent coverage, the dewy finish is just dewy enough without being too much and it blends effortlessly and flawlessly. I just came on here to give it a plug, so it was funny that yours was the last post Turquoise!

Ha ha fet ! Grin at name, only thing I found was the colour didn't match for me - too yellow or too white - and I found the coverage doesn't last -Sad I really really wanted it to work tho. Am sticking with double wear light myself

I have and really like both, think I like the Laura mercier more though, it lasts longer and I prefer the finish it's not matt, but not as dewy as the Liz earle, after a couple of hours I'm too shiny when I have the Liza Earle on.

Quite often the makeup counters say they have no samples or pots, soi now buy little pots in boots and when they say they have no samples I whip out my pot and ask if they would mind putting a bit in there, I've never had any problems.

Great idea, Miche. Grin

I use the LM oil free tinted one and I look very dewy and fresh, I wouldn't use anything else now. I used to use a matt foundation but I got too shiny after a while. This makes me look a lot younger and also feels like its good for my skin- have really cut down on using serums and day moisturiser as a result.

TigerseyeMum · 25/11/2012 08:57

Miche, at my LM counter they gave me a little pot of base to try, gots loads, it's brilliant!
