For a christmas dinner dance with school mums, (it is also fundraising event for autism), I am planning to wear a rather sober long sleeved skater-shaped knee-length navy dress. To jazz it up a bit I am wearing patent burgundy block heel court shoes and I thought I would perhaps wear net-type burgundy tights. Does this sound okay? No actually, the net thing sounds minging, doesn't it? What tights should I wear? I was then thinking a burgundy skinny belt. Would this be too matchy matchy? Gold maybe? I am 41 by the way. Please help me!
