here goes..

This Vivienne dress from Fever is hugely flattering. Great cut and thick fabric. Comes in red or black.
It's not remotely glitzy but ideal for going out straight from work- just add jewellery, heels etc. Good if you want a multipurpose type dress for several occasions, especially as it's not especially cheap.
I'm currently trying to decide whether to wear it to the MN meet up on Saturday, or to stick with jeans

Anskabel · 26/11/2012 19:16

I bought this lace print dress from Karen Millen today - I've had my eye on it for a while, but was waiting for a 20% discount offer!

Am using the iPhone app and pictures don't show, also I can't post one Sad

However I will share my beauty of a party season dress: Michelle dress from Hush - it's fab because it can be dressed up, it's lovely silky fabric, with bare legs, copious fake tan high heels and silver jewellery, or worn like the Hush model over skinnies or leggings. I could literally wear it everywhere Smile plan to buy it in the claret colour too.

It's also great if you're pregnant as it's so floaty.

EdgarAllanPond · 26/11/2012 19:39

annskabels - hope this works...

EdgarAllanPond · 26/11/2012 19:42

Djembes dress does look most multi-functional and practical

i love ummofummbridges - that is lush. fit wise going to be a bit tight round the bum on me - even if i had the occasion to wear it to!

moonshine · 26/11/2012 19:49

GlaikitFizzog - I have just received that dress today, without the discount sadly, but have found it almost impossible to get hold of. As soon as they go on the site they sell out. But tis worth every penny.

I can confirm it is super flattering, even for a, ahem, curvier person like myself (no pleats on the back skirt bit so doesn't stick out), very stylish and the Holy Grail - a sleeved dress!

myalias · 26/11/2012 19:51

Wow that dress is gorgeous Anskabel

JamInMyWellies · 26/11/2012 20:07

MikeLitoris · 26/11/2012 20:07

Spookey80 · 26/11/2012 20:26

Ummofumbridge · 26/11/2012 20:44

Annskabels - I think I saw that one in pink on the Asos website. I love it!

BunnyLebowski · 26/11/2012 20:59

I've just this minute won this wee beauty! It's Pearl Lowe for Peacocks from a few years ago. I've been lusting after/searching for it ever since!

Yay Grin

BunnyLebowski · 26/11/2012 21:02

SantyClaws · 26/11/2012 21:06

piprabbit that purple dress is gorgeous - pls get purple not black

v Envy

my lbd is really quite boring in comparison (no point linking, not in uk)

earlyriser · 26/11/2012 21:32

Love this one from boohoo, and a bargain at only £30

piprabbit · 26/11/2012 21:44

Thanks Santy - the back is the same as the front, a deep lace V, just enough flesh to be celebratory, not enough to be embarressing Grin.
Sounds like I need to get the purple Grin.

Joycey29 · 26/11/2012 21:56

Coast - green and sparkly sequins but I love it!
