I need a dress to wear with brown boots

I am currently a size 16, trying to loose some weight. However, this will most probably not work before Christmas.
I am looking for a nice casual dress or tunic to wear with knee high low-heeled brown boots. Definitely don't want anything figure-hugging. Does anyone have any good suggestions of where to look?

There is a navy pheasant print dress in the A/W Next catalogue that might be up your street. It's stretchy jersey, definitely not figure hugging and not super dressy. I tried it on and it's really quite flattering, skims the curves and is very comfy to wear. Navy is nice with brown boots, I think, and the pheasants are dark reddish-brown. It's short-sleeved, though, and not very warm, so you;d need a cardy on top .

I am wearing a fabulous simple 'wool' navy swing tunic dress with a pocket on the boob - £16 from Peacocks. I will be donning brown boots later Smile

It looks much more expensive than it was - they had several colours but I was after a navy blue dress and this one's perfect. Soft and cosy, and due to high acrylic content washes v well.

The pheasant dress does look nice. Djembe, is your dress this season's? I can't see it on the Peacocks website. Does it have a coloured stripe at the bottom?
