Anyone use Alpha-H serums and other skin care products? Where's the cheapest place to buy them?

And what do you reckon? I've heard really good things about all their products.

Yes yes, I do! I love Alpha H :)

Have bought from mainly QVC, Salonskincare and a few bits from EBay.

For starter kit I'd look at salonskincare, they have a few different kits dependent on what you're after (anti ageing / blemish etc)

Thanks Jemima!

It was the vitamin serums I was particularly interested in. The vitamin C and the vitamin A.

I've not tried those serums Fuckit

I've tried most of their range and have yet to find something I don't like. The vitamin A serum in particular is one I really want to try but still using up my stash of decleor oils first.

The intensive night repair serum is fairly high on vit A & is probably my favourite product of theirs.

There are 2 Alpha H shows on QVC today, I always tape them so I can zip through any waffle!

I'm a big fan of Alpha-H. I usually buy from QVC (Not tried the serums though, sorry). At least with QVC I know that they've got their solid 30 day guarantee so if I dont like the product, or it gives me a reaction, I know I can return for a full refund, less p&p

I've also bought it from BeautyBay.com in the past, but only when they've got an offer on and only when I've already tried the product. Their Balancing Cleanser is one of my staples, along with Liquid Gold and the eye complex gel.

rabbitonthemoon · 22/11/2012 21:47

Is it suitable for dryish/sensitive skin?

HeftyHeifer · 23/11/2012 09:26

rabbit my skin is very reactive and I have no problems with Alpha H products. I think Liquid Gold could possibly be problematic for some skins but the other products are very gentle.

I wouldnt buy any vitamin c serum from a company as there are many reasons why its best used fresh. Make it yourself.... it will work better and save you money.

Fuckitthatlldo · 24/11/2012 10:57

How do you make it yourself Cedge?

One simple way is described here :

You can make it more complex than this if you want to, but its a good way to start.
