I am 36 and don't have very skinny legs and wear size 10 clothes.
Thought they would look good with black skinnies? Are they mum boots?

Yes puss in boots did cross my mind , but I did think they made my legs look thinner- I think because of the bit at the top !

Not for me, try some ankle boots with chunky socks.

I think ankle boots make my legs look fat. I have quite chunky legs, but my ankles are slim , so ankle boots just seem to emphasise my fat legs!

They're not mum boots. If you like them get them. I know ankle boots are more on trend but I can't wear them either as they make my short legs look stumpy.

I know what you mean about making legs look chunky but the key is to get ankle boots that are not tight at the top, these ones make legs look thinner! The boots that are fitted around the ankle are very unflattering when jeans are tucked in. I'll send some links later if I get a chance.

I have the exact same problem - size 10 but chunky calves- and get my boots from Duoboots.

you measure your calves and there's a pretty good choice of styles, so more chance of getting the look you want rather than just buying boots become they happen to fit.
