Are they platform ballet shoes?

BunnyLebowski · 21/11/2012 11:07

Ere ya go

Pretty similar no? Wink

QueenieLovesEels · 21/11/2012 11:19

Oooh they're close! Def in the area. Has to be black though and not wood or I will stack it.

My hybrid 80's/gothic style is flexing.

I'm an 80s throwback too, (they had The Best Music/Clothes/Make-Up)

My DC are Shock and Hmm when I tell them about skinny jeans with lycra (the original ones)
Tucker Boots/ Pixie boots
Donkey Jackets (oh yes)

I had shoes like the lace ones in pink, with a pink boxy cotton jacket ( think Miami Vice) , my skinny jeans (when I had a size 8 arse) the Human League Girl hair...............

Grin no help at all just having a mind-wander.

QueenieLovesEels · 21/11/2012 11:30

I still wear pixie boots shameless and all sorts of inappropriate velvet.

I had to retire my elbow length leather gloves mind when this chap pervy old codger called me mistress and begged to carry my shopping in Sainsburys. That is where perception and reality crashed somewhat.

Did you peel the gloves off ,finger-by-finger and beat him with them?

QueenieLovesEels · 21/11/2012 12:08

Not in Sainsburys dahlink Grin I was off duty

No I just laughed nervously and yet somewhat hysterically before shouting "down boy".

I then legged it.

Have researched flatforms with laces to no avail. Surely there is a pair out there somewhere?

BunnyLebowski · 21/11/2012 17:03

If those two broads wore it then it's good enough for me Grin

mignonette · 21/11/2012 17:09

I still have my Tucker boots like these <a class="break-all" href="http://www.inthe80s.com/clothes/image.php?image=www.inthe80s.com/clothes/images/user-image-1196475723.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here.

I also kept my Kicker IKolors like this here except mine are beautiful pale lilac Nubuck, almost perfect and originally bought in Brittany to the envy of everyone in class when I proudly wore them back in 1979-80.

3mily · 21/11/2012 17:10

There are loads of plain black flatforms around, could you get some black ribbon and attach it? There are guides on how to attach ribbon to ballet flats :)

QueenieLovesEels · 21/11/2012 18:17

I love those tucker style boots.

There is always more room for shoe lust.....

Does anyone know who made the original flatform ones she is wearing?

I am not skilled enough to wing it with a glue gun. Grin
