Year's supply of tights?

SIL said jokingly that she wished someone would buy her a year's supply of tights as she always finds a ladder when she's just about to leave for work, so I thought I'd look into this for Xmas present. Has anyone come across any companies that do this - thinking maybe post out 5 pairs every couple of months? Suppose I could do it myself if I had the inclination? Thanks

There used to be a company called Silkies I think - I used to use them. I loved their tights as they had a bit of tummy control too and lasted for ages! Iirc you paid a monthly sub and they sent them to you.

Oh shame - I just emailed them and they are not accepting any new customers, only exisiting customers.

Anyone else have any other ideas? I suppose I could just buy 52 pairs of tights and put them in a big box (in fact this is going to cost me dear isn't it...)

Do Amazon do a repeat order type thing...?

ceeveebee · 20/11/2012 12:45

OOh good idea - I will look into that as I know they do subscriptions for nappies and things..

Eh ?

What a brilliant business plan... No new customers ??? Existing customers only ???

ceeveebee · 20/11/2012 13:07

I know - I can only guess its not worth their while so they are just doing what they are committed to do! They told me to buy them from a mail order firm called JD Williams

Amazon don't seem to do tights on their subscribe and save

But I found this company which looks quite good but obviously without seeing their tights its hard to know whether they are good quality or not.

Brilliant idea by the way

We should set up a website and do it ourselves. I would be a willing customer for one!!
