in winter i like it.

years ago i used to find laura ashely winter stuff too frilly but bought the odd thing in summer

yep - I love the Monsoon / Jigsaw type lush rich fabrics in winter but find them too baggy and loose-fitting for summer. Also like winter cardies in FatFace etc, but find their summer stuff too surfy to be credible 100 miles from the sea.
Gap, on the other hand, is usually rubbish in winter but great for slightly preppy summer clothes, esp little shirts.
H&M is great all year and I wish we had one!

I like monsoon in summer but never winter.
fat face in winter but not summer.
Prefer Gap in winter than summer (I like layering).

I'm off gap for summer wear as their current stock is so uninspirational. Really liked it about 2 or 3 years ago.
