The zip on my favorite only pair of boots has broken and I'm too broke to buy a new pair and I'm living in them at the moment, can I get it repaired at a cobblers?

I got two pairs of boots repaired at a saddlers recently - £20 each, which was a bargain imo

I'm sure I read something on here recently about Timpsons (is that the chain cobbler/keycutting place??) doing them - but yes it can be pricey

It's cheaper than buying a new pair of boots!

If you're anywhere near Woodbridge in Suffolk, the key shop on the High street did my last pair for £10. Not a bad job for the money. And PS, no I'm not them hawking for business.
