Invite for "dress to impress" - accessories advice please

We have been invited to a posh 40th, men in black tie, ladies dress to impress whatever the fuck that actually means.

I have this Mary Portas dress from last season. V neck is quite revealing so could do with a statement necklace, a bag and shoes (size 42 feet btw so can't do Dune or other lovely shoe shops)

Hello - I've noticed that Aldo do a size 9 1/2 ( but no size 9 for some reason!). Maybe worth a try? Plenty of sale options too! They have nice bags too.

Black you say? Right I have black clutch bag so that's fine.
I like the mango ones but have tried them before and my hooves are too wide for them generally. I never thought of Aldo before - gorgeous shoes in my size. Shock horror!

Black and gold seems to be very in at the moment and there is lots to chose from ! Go for it feel like a Bond girl!
