Recommendations for high waisted straight leg jeans?

Just that really, legs not good enough for skinnies and I like straight leg (gap ones mostly) but would prefer high waist as more flattering post DCs! In a perfect world, I would be able to go and buy these today to wear to a friends' for dinner tonight : )

I bought these recently, just below waist though, the legs are very flattering as not to skinny. I also bought similar in black. Got both in store.

Oh and for really high waist try M&S and Per Una (Roma) in M&S, You may have to trawl through lots of not so good styles but a few of them are really nice.

Bhs 'dream jeans'. Say they visually knock a dress size off and I love them.

John Lewis do Mummy Jeans, high waist and give you a good figure. Not cheep but women swear by them

These are skinny, they do other styles, but I think even chunky legs can wear these.

I tried on various Levi curve in TK Maxx (unfortunately none fitted me I'm 33" leg) and I don't remember that they they were a very high rise though some styles of them may be.

The best ones I have are 7 for all mankind.

Next Relaxed Skinnies are very nice but hard to find! I'm currently wearing Gap Sexy Boyfriend. I think they're probably meant to be loose on most people but on my chunky thights they fit like straight jeans. The waist comes up nice and high.

I got a pair of M&S straight leg jeans called Eva recently and I love them, they are high waisted and seem to help me stand taller, they are part of a body shaper range, DH even said this morning that 'nice jeans, everything looks smaller' assuming he means my butt and thighs lol

I like the 5 pocket jeggings for comfort but I know they don't really suit my size 14/16 but hey ho for the school run / play group I don't give a monkey's but for going out these M&S jeans are really nice!!! I only got them cos I had an exchange voucher and couldn't find any tops I liked and was a bit desperate but honestly they are a great find for £25
