1920's, Gatsby themed xmas party frock Help!

Any idea's? I'm a tall size 14. I'm wondering if a midi, black fringed frock might do it but I'm open to suggestions.

My local TK Maxx has beautiful beaded flapper style dresses at the moment. I tried on a gorgeous midnight blue one which had silver beading.

Found a black suitably fringed frock with a diamante bodice on ebay . Found a long string of pearls and long gloves,long pearly earrings and brought some very reasonably priced black salsa shoes (well, they do look v like 1920's Mary Janes and the are mega comfortable too). Already have a black pearl bag and I'm pretty much good to go. Jus need to do something with the barnet before the big night.

Came very close to shelling out on the beautiful dress mrscumberbatch recommended.
