oooh i only just did it for the first time last weekend, and did 25 mins. seems to have worked but maybe the badger will out soon? oh dear....

Do any of you use one of the blonde shades?
I'm tempted but am white so need it to add warmth, not go lighter.

I use a medium ash blonde 106 on (formerly) mousey hair.

I leave it on 25mins ish after I finish putting it on the back bit. So the front and badger stripes get more like 45mins.

I read that if you leave colouring on for longer than the recommended time (is it usually 20 or 30 minutes?) then it was go very 'matt' and dense looking.
So you don't get the tonal highlights that the advert blethers on again.

White/grey hair grabs colour more but fades quicker .
I used to use henna but by-gum, the grey hairs take up the colour well and look luminous Grin

Really? I am sure mine wasn't dark enough after 25 mins, might try it again

An hour. Always an hour.

Welcome fellow badger!

If you pre treat your greys with hydrogen peroxide 30 % vol (i think) then they grab the colour much better. Just started doing this and my grey wings don't peek through as quickly.
