What to buy in the US?

Am off to America tomorrow and want to know what to buy, ie which brands are actually cheaper and worth hunting down.

Also any recommendations for good stores for clothing and all things S&B. Have recently had baby, am in total style rut and need some dramatic rescue products for skin/hair etc

Am using this trip as a big excuse to SHOP!!!!

Macy's seem to have good offers sometimes on skincare/cosmetics eg Free gifts when you spend $23 (as opposed to us having to buy 2 items generally)
