i cannot stop looking in the mirror at myself Blush

they look brilliant. perfect, tiny hairstrokes, a lovely arch, a perfect browny black colour exactly like my natural hair colour, and they are completely symetterical (sp?) . they completely open up my face and eyes and i have no make up on at all and yet i somehow look lightly made up and natural.

i have eyebrows for the first time, like, ever AND I WILL NEVER HAVE TO DRAW THEM ON AGAIN! well for at least a year anyway

i love them

one downside - it FOOKING hurt

I'm another one mystified by all this eyebrow talk. OK, I get it if you've suffered hair loss.

But I don't do anything to my eyebrows, beyond whipping off the odd stray one. Don't possess an eyebrow pencil. My eyebrows are just.....there.

I get the feeling I'm horribly out of date.Confused Grin

I'm the same with eyebrows Contrieau. Mine are thick and bushy so am always plucking.

Eyeliner sounds good but I bet it hurts like a bitch.

Well I learnt something new today! Who knew?!?

My eyebrows are also just there, I ignore them pretty much all of the time.
Glad your happy though.

Only popped up to wave to the other people with alopecia. Smile

For info - I read lots of the posts on semi permenant make up before going off to have my eyebrows done and thought others might appreciate the feedback: I'm a fair (ie none) eyebrowed twin mum who has time to put on eyeliner and mascara but rarely makes it to the eyebrow stage before one toddler takes on the other...

I took a deep breath and went to see Andrea Grollet after I saw an article in a newspaper. I say deep breath because I was terrified of coming out with Essex brows (sorry guys). I've now had my first two sessions and we started out nice and slow! Shape, colour etc and not an Essex brow (sorry again) in sight. They are really nice and subtle and I will definitely be going back. I'm one of those blonds who has nothing if they don't dye or use liner and being a big fan of eyeliner means I need the balance of eyebrows.

the only downside is the small amount of pain (worth it and short lived), the first 5 days can be a bit unnerving (it's quite a lot darker and my step daughter kindly told me I had stripey eyebrows... funny but RUDE - as she would say) and it isn't cheap. But then nothing seems to be these days.

I have eyebrows - woop woop!

I got mine done from Jenny Lu in Houston and I love them

Hi everyone. I'm hoping to get an answer to this very old thread regarding semi-permanent eye brows! I want to get mine done and have seen a voucher off that is vastly below normal salon prices but would rather pay top dollar for a good job. So my post is really about whether salons/processes vary much or is it a fairly standard process now and who would you recommend in the High Wycombe/Buckinghamshire area to deliver this treatment? Thank you.

I've had mine done too, I had diamond blading. Really really pleased.
