I have a new bag (which doesn't really match the dress I bought) - can I 'help' it to match?

It's very like this

The dress is black with diamonte round the neck

Could I wear a greenish wrap? or get rid of the diamonte & wear greenish jewellery?

Or am I on a hiding to nothing?

Could you wear slightly boho shoes to make it a "thing"?
If the dress were quite plain I don't think it would be a problem. Could you link to the dress or something similar?

The skirt is like this

But the top is plainer, with a narrow strip of diamonte round the neck (round neck) no sleeves

Does it all feel right on? Matching is quite old fashioned now, but maybe a jewelled clip in you hair with green stones to bring it together?

Green eyeliner or nails? Or green earrings. I think it is fine if you keep rights and shoes very simple v

It keeps coming back to the diamonte round the neck; I think I'll change that - hang on - I'll find something

I'd go with the green wrap idea....

If you're nifty with a needle & thread, go for it. But agree that "matchy matchy" is old hat.
