Does anyone know of a hairspray for children?

Dd is nearly seven and has very fine flyaway hair just like mine. When I plait it or put it in a ponytail the flyaway bits are quite noticeable and lots of times hair bands just slide out.

So far this has not been a problem but she keeps asking me to make sure her hair bands stay in as there have been lots of letters home from school about nits. The only way my own bands stay in is when I use a bit of hairspray. The flyaway bits are usually tamed that way too.

I already use a detangling spray but was wondering if anyone knew if a children's fixing spray or a hairspray for kids. I really don't want to use an adult one as it may become part of her daily hair routine.

I use normal hairspray on dd's hair but only for dance shows or exams.

Have never seen a children's one.

Just spray on your hands or a hair brush and then smooth her hair to make it less fumey. No such thing as children's spray.
