I think it might be time to colour my hair

It hasn't been its natural colour for over 15 years. I dye my hair a lot but have been growing it out for a few months so I can have a laugh see what my natural colour is. I ws told today I have a lot of greys. I am not bothered about them. I am not attractive or pretty but feel a bit more ugly now.

So, what colour do I go?

If left to my own devices I could end up with orange hair..

What is your natural colour? I'd go for something a bit lighter, maybe with some highlights? Just so when the grey starts to show it blends a bit more. It's really unnattractive (IMO) to see solid grey roots and then a solid colour all over.

This is the sort of thing I mean <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1440&bih=785&authuser=0&tbm=isch&tbnid=G_KkUI_QQAFxcM:&imgrefurl=www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1254493/EastEnder-Lucy-Benjamin-lets-silver-roots-Tesco-Mum-Of-The-Year-Awards.html&docid=7GUSx4uGEL9kmM&imgurl=i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/02/28/article-1254493-08826B15000005DC-237_468x543.jpg&w=468&h=543&ei=r3WdUPr2HMqo0QWgnIGYDA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=437&vpy=432&dur=1312&hovh=242&hovw=208&tx=111&ty=215&sig=102731576298737837586&page=3&tbnh=148&tbnw=124&start=70&ndsp=41&ved=1t:429,r:68,s:20,i:338" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here although I also really like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1440&bih=785&authuser=0&tbm=isch&tbnid=4YOBUbu8SRuTdM:&imgrefurl=diana212m.blogspot.com/2012/07/going-grey.html&docid=Lh5Ov0nH4e3JiM&imgurl=1.bp.blogspot.com/-0m6vD8Il-7o/UBEuWf3U4_I/AAAAAAAAORk/-RsiJ0xaoy8/s1600/gray-hair-color-tips-5.jpg&w=415&h=622&ei=r3WdUPr2HMqo0QWgnIGYDA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=572&vpy=399&dur=555&hovh=275&hovw=183&tx=85&ty=221&sig=102731576298737837586&page=3&tbnh=148&tbnw=97&start=70&ndsp=41&ved=1t:429,r:69,s:20,i:341" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this although not sure it's grey or blondey streaks.

Actually that second pick is from a blog and shows what she had done in her hair.

I will look at the pics in a minute, thank you.

When I was little I was very light blonde but then went mousy.

I love dark brown with chestnut tones but hard to do myself as it looks so dark on the box. No hairdresser atm so a bit stuck.
