I like Palmers coco butter (quite a thick cream smells lovely and needs a good rubbing in) and Nivea soft (which is a lighter cream and more quickly absorbed).

Another neat trick I use when my skin is very dry is to put baby oil on my skin after a shower.. (I do a good exfoliate first)..

But think Dove is supposed to be good too..

Some brands do travel sized pots so you could try and few and see which ones you like as it can be down to personal preference.

Aveeno. Or for really cheap cos it's always on special with my Avon woman skin so soft body spray or body moisturiser, the whole range is good and I just bought 3 for £2 each.

I second Palmers.

L'Occitane Shea.
It's a bit more expensive than some of the ones in Boots but I find it really moisturising, seems to keep skin soft all day.

Vaseline intensive care in the brown bottle.

I second Nivea, just the one in the blue bottle is really good.

If you're flush, Clinique do a lovely one.

The garnier Intensive 7 day moisturiser for dry - very dry skin is really good, sorted out my lizard legs :-)

Aveeno or any of the body butters from The Body Shop are good ime.
