better than ever.

Alessandra Steinherr, the beauty director of Cosmopolitan magazine, chooses the best products to plump out lines and fill pores. All are suitable for everyday use.

LAUGHTER LINES

L’Oréal Wrinkle Decrease Collagen Filler, £14.99
A handy pen for precise application on wrinkles and the little lines around eyes and lips. It is made with collagen biospheres to decrease the appearance of wrinkles, while pro-glycan works on strengthening your skin at a deeper level. Wrinkles look airbrushed out.

DEEPER WRINKLES

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Plump Perfect Targeted Line Concentrate, £45
This is a miracle-worker if you have deep lines around your mouth and on your forehead. The formula contains sea algae that makes skin look smoother, and Argireline, which is often described as an alternative to Botox, to plump skin in the long term.

COSMETIC TOUCH-UPS

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, £20
Use this before applying foundation to smooth out expression lines and to make open pores literally disappear. Acacia micro-pearls swell up by absorbing moisture and, as a result, plump up your skin and give it a youthful glow. For optimum results, let it dry for a few minutes before applying make-up.
