Boots to wear with dresses, but not biker or high heeled or mumsy?

Does such a thing exist? I normally wear dresses for work, like tea dress type things, and wear biker boots and leggins but when I go back after mat leave next month I wanted a bit of a change. So I want to mix it up big style by wearing tea dresses, tights and different boots Blush Any suggestions?

I shall be watching. I've been looking for a perfect pair of boots for SUCH a long time. I want something smart-ish to wear with dresses & skirts but I walk a lot so can't have too high a hell. NIGHTMARISH trying to find the right thing

This style, I would probably go for black because I would wear them more but brown boots are more casual, relaxed looking imho.

How about cowboy style? Look nice with dresses and vehr fashionable.

I have these and love them, or these are also lovely. I have no idea what the dress code is for your work but they look ace with simple wool dresses and opaques.

This block heel could work too.

I have these which I wear with all my day dresses, they look smart but are comfy and good for walking in.

Snap BensonBunny, I was just about to post the exact same link. I've had them 4 years. Resole every year and they are still looking as good as new.

Those boots are bloody lovely Djembe!

Would recommend Duob boots too - I have a pair that is 4 yrs old and going strong. They no longer sell the style but I can vouch for them being comfy. I snapped mine up in the sales for under £100.

Ooo thanks for suggestions. Think I might be too old for cowboy boots sadly, well I feel it anyway. Didn't think of getting brown instead of black but will prob do that as looks a bit different but still the stuff I am comfy in. Thanks again Smile

djembe those boots are amazing. Straight on my Christmas list. Love the website & the bigger sizes too. Thanks!

Frye boots or their ilk usually have a decent 1-2 inch heel that gives you the lift you need with a frock.

Or glorious clog boots such as Sanita boots are good. Look for the ones with he real sheepskin lining, looks classy.
