Navy dress, what colour goes with it?

Saw a navy dress today in Next. Can't find it on website. It's lace effect with little sleeves. Comes to just above my knee. £32.
Looks like it needs a thin belt to accessorise. What colour belt?
What on bottom half?
Tried it with black leggings which seems wrong. If tights, which colour tights & shoes?

I love navy and nude beiges and tans together. A beige belt with sheer tights and nude/tan boots or shoes.

Navy will go with any colour, it's up to your personal choice.
I like belts, as they give you a shape - me not having much. To give yourself a longer body, have the belt as low as possible to sit on your hip bones at bottom of waist. I do that as I am short waisted.
It also depends on the shade of navy as some can look almost black and others distinctly bluish.

Re tights, you say it is a lace effect dress, so classy looking nylon tights , and classy shoes. Same colour as the belt, maybe.
