Can I use permanent home hair colour over bleached hair?

I cant afford the hair dressers at the moment. I had blond foils done in aug and now have dark roots with grey in them. Can i buy a home kit and go over the top (colour suggestions?) or will i be on dodgy ground? Using phone so appologies for bad post.

Use a warm tone and you should be ok. Do not under any circumstances use ash on bleach as it will go green.

I've done a blonde colour loads of times over highlights when I'm a bit low on funds. Just choose a light blonde nothing with ash or beige tones and it's fine.

I have and I would. I'd get something with a red base to it though, as this tends to combat the green.

Can you go a darker blonde if you have got bleached highlights, caramel blonde or a toffee colour, scared it will go orange or green

I've had the over bleach blond hair, many... many years ago. Today my daughter is sitting here with it and wants me to make it "red". I have hair color by an "on-line" company. I love it for myself. She is begging me to use the kit I have and use it on her. It's nearly 8 pm at night. (I know they would say NO... but what would the ladies out there (who have been there) say? and how bad or good would it be??? Thanks.
