I always wonder if it's what someone at bbc breakfast makes them wear. I'm sure business Steph used to have a different style, more casual and imo more suited to her personality, and then she seemed to change to dresses and make up and 'done' hair and look a bit more like the other women's style on that programme. Honestly not trying to diss her, I think she's ace whatever she wears.

They have to wear plain dresses as opposed to patterns/stripes etc which look terrible on screen.

Yes but they used to wear shirts/blouses/different styles of dresses/jackets - it all seems to be variations on a theme ATM - all fitted dresses. Even the woman who does the weather usually!

Weathercarol doesn't wear The Outfit though doesn she? She's often more relaxed in attire, unless they've shoved the poor woman outside when it's snowing when she just looks fucking freezing. Why she has to stand outside in the snow to tell us that it's snowing I will never understand.

I like Businesssteph too (too many s's??) but agree she seems to have adopted The Uniform, smart and nice as it is. I first heard her on radio 5 so had no idea what she looked like until fairly recently. I bet she'd be fab company on a night in with wine.
